Deep Dive
The Fed Cut Fell Flat, AI Stocks Didn't Care
The Fed dropped rates 25 basis points today and the market yawned. Traditional blue-chip stocks like the Dow got hammered—rate-sensitive companies hate hikes—but here's the kicker: AI stocks went green across the board. Tesla, Nvidia, TSM, AMD, Oracle, Marvell, CrowdStrike, even crypto rallied. The creator emphasizes that 25bps is a nothing burger in the age of AGI and exponential growth. Japan and the ECB still have announcements coming this week, but the real story is that the market has already accepted the Fed doesn't control inflation—they can only destroy demand. And that doesn't move the needle on AI.
Bitcoin's Bullish Setup: 90K Is Coming
Bitcoin sits at $76.3K, perched $6K above its 200-day moving average of $70.3K. That's a very bullish sign. Short-term resistance hits at $78.15K (level 4 on the ATR, exact to the dollar). The next critical breakout is $82K—once Bitcoin clears that, it should head back to $90K. ETFs started selling again after five stellar weeks, which is a minor headwind, but the timing indicators are turning down while still in bull mode. The creator expects Bitcoin to hit a new all-time high before the next halving, just like it did before the last one. Eth bounced near its $2,380-$2,390 buy zone and should head back to $2,500-$2,600. Solana is flattish above support but could rally into its annual show in 8 weeks when historically it gets major news releases.
Nvidia, Tesla, SpaceX: Q4 Tailwinds Setting Up
Nvidia had a clear sell signal at $231 last week and turned hard, but now there's a higher low forming around $210. The creator expects accumulation on dips, not selling here. There's no buy signal yet, but resistance at $228-$230 should break in Q4. Tesla is still in a beautiful buy signal from when it dipped to low $300s and is in an upward channel. Q4 is historically killer for Tesla: Optimus allegedly just went into production, Semi launches next week, Cyber Cabs are selling out everywhere, Roadster is coming, and there are hints of a Tesla-SpaceX merger at a premium. SpaceX broke $155 resistance last week on the unlock, dipped to $140, and the creator bought yesterday. Unlock sellers have been taking chips at the $155 level but not lower, suggesting real demand underneath. For pair traders holding both, the two stocks are now locked in step with each other—neither moves without the other anymore, which may kill that pair trade strategy.
Memory Plays Stuck in Tight Ranges—Day Trading Gold
Micron is trapped in a super tight $920-$1,000 range since early August. The stock bounces from support at $920 all the way up to $1,000 and change, then sells back off. The creator did this trade three to four times in the last four to five weeks. No major breakout is coming soon, but he expects Micron to hit $1,500 within a year and crushed Q4 anyway. SK Hynix is discussing a US memory fab with Intel, and both Tesla and SpaceX need memory—either via existing Micron deals or new arrangements. Overall demand for custom chips and TPUs from Google is huge. AMD is stuck in a range-rider box for nearly five months but has tons of demand underneath and will eventually break out. Google hit its $325 buy zone exactly last week and is now facing resistance, but it's a $400 stock waiting to happen.
The Scorecard, Leopold's Portfolio, and the AI Lie
The creator scored his calls from last week: Google at $325 was on the dollar, Nvidia toppy was right on, Bitcoin $80K resistance worked, ETH resistance worked, short-term Nvidia calls worked, Clean Spark plays worked, SpaceX dip happened. What didn't work: copper fell (he said it would), AAB fell then rebounded. He's now reviewing Leopold Ashenbrenner's new portfolio which is all-in on Bitcoin miners, energy plays, and energy infrastructure. Full report coming to Patreon later. On AI: last week was the craziest SCOP AI week in history with massive content over the weekend, but it's all garbage. Frontier models and the games being played make no sense. Don't be fooled—AI isn't going anywhere, it's only accelerating.
