Navy SEAL Ballistics Expert Challenges Official Narrative
Robert O'Neal, the Navy SEAL sniper who killed Osama bin Laden, appeared on Newsmax to discuss the Charlie Kirk shooting and immediately cast doubt on the federal account. O'Neal stated plainly that nothing about the official story makes sense from a ballistics standpoint. He emphasized his combat experience — having killed people at closer range than the alleged rooftop distance — and said the shirt damage looks like an explosion, not a gunshot wound from a .306 rifle at that range. O'Neal also raised an uncomfortable question about the immediate response: rather than performing first aid on Kirk, people at the scene were removing cameras and SIM cards. He noted the rooftop was allegedly paved over days later. Brigadier General Blaine Holt joined O'Neal and flatly rejected the spine-hit explanation federal authorities offered, saying something exploded on Kirk but refusing to engage further in courtroom detail.
The Disappearing Rooftop Narrative
On September 12, just two days after the assassination, Governor Cox held an FBI press conference where he stated the shooter changed clothes on the rooftop — first spotted in one outfit, then changing on the roof, then changing back. Cash Patel and Bo Mason stood beside Cox without correction. However, by later inquiries, this narrative vanished entirely. Owens points out the absurdity: the shooter allegedly removed tactical gear on a rooftop to put on a long-sleeve American flag shirt, then changed back. When asked about the discrepancy weeks later, Dan Bongino on the FBI side only offered that video footage was grainy, avoiding the core contradiction. Owens notes that after Tyler Robinson was arrested and his texts seized, authorities had full visibility into movements and footage, yet allowed a fabricated sequence of events to stand. She argues this suggests planned narrative control rather than investigative discovery.
State Witness Jennifer Fomina and Network Connections
Owens researched state investigator Jennifer Fomina and discovered she appeared on Netflix's Worst Roommate Ever episode discussing her work with the FBI's joint terrorism task force. Digging deeper, Owens found Fomina was born and raised in Hawaii, moved to Utah, and graduated from Weber State University in criminal justice in 2008. Public records show her in a 2013 post-training photo but no paid employment records until 2018 — a five-year employment gap. More striking: Bo Mason, the newly appointed Utah police commissioner as of June 19, 2025, appears in the same 2013 training photo as Fomina. Owens highlights that multiple key officials — hospital CEO Andrew Zanger (appointed August 18), Judge Tony Grapf (appointed May 2025), and FBI Salt Lake City SAC Robert BS (installed September 2, just eight days before the assassination) — were all appointed or transferred in the months immediately before Kirk's shooting, suggesting coordinated positioning.
The CPR Contradiction and Frank Turk's Defense
Frank Turk, who was in the car with Kirk during transport to the hospital, claimed he performed CPR for the last 20 to 30 seconds of the ride. Brian Harpole, also present, stated definitively that no CPR was performed during the journey. When confronted with this contradiction, Turk defended himself by saying Harpole was just focused on stopping bleeding and may have been distracted by chaos, so he didn't notice Turk performing CPR. Owens pushed back hard: moving an injured person into CPR position, getting on top of him, and performing compressions would be impossible to miss, especially in a car where Kirk's legs were reportedly too long and the door was held open. She called it a lie, not a minor detail difference. Turk deflected by saying Harpole now has a lawsuit against Owens so he can't speak about it — yet Turk had just spent three hours on the Sean Ryan show. This caught Turk admitting to discrepancies while simultaneously claiming they don't matter.
Blake Nef's Hotel Amnesia and the Mormon Connection Emerges
Blake Nef, a Turning Point USA staffer, initially told Owens the team stayed in Orum but later changed his account to Salt Lake City, claiming misunderstanding of the question. When asked which hotel, Nef said he didn't remember. Owens found this curious because Provo, where Kirk's restaurant event occurred, is 50 miles from Salt Lake, yet the entire Turning Point contingent — including people who didn't attend the event — flew into Salt Lake and stayed there. No one can name the hotel. Owens then pivoted to Jennifer Fomina's family history and discovered her uncle, Missiona Fomina, was killed in a gang initiation beating in Hawaii in 1995. Her father spoke publicly about the case, describing the uncle as a devout Mormon. More strikingly, the uncle was connected to Adult Friends for Youth, run by Sid Rosen. Owens noted this dovetailed with comments from Courtney Love years ago describing a Mormon mafia as an extension of a Zionist mafia — a connection she couldn't process at the time but now suspects may have relevance to understanding institutional networks in Utah.
